Statues of Freya and Thor

This week (1st week in February 2020), I got a statue of Freya. It is by Dryad Design, and it is much nicer than any photo can show, the detail in the design is amazing. The statue of Thor I have had for many years, 20 to 30 years. I got it when I went on a trip to the Jorvik Centre in York.

The Theft of Thor's Hammer

Freyja's cats look on, the god Thor is unhappily dressed as Freyja My earliest memory is sitting on the grass, watching a play about the theft of Thor's hammer, on the local common. Ever since then I have had an interest in the Gods and Goddesses of the North, and I thank the Gods and Goddesses, for my earliest memory being a happy one.
